Zaborin

Each of Zaborin's 15 villas features modern amenities, a spacious living area, and two private onsens filled with free-flowing natural volcanic spring water. Guests may choose from traditional Japanese sleeping arrangements or modern bedding configurations, enhancing their stay with comfort.

Zaborin's dining experience includes the signature kita kaiseki, celebrating local ingredients and seasonal flavors. Breakfast options encompass both traditional Japanese and Western dishes, and may include Hokkaido seasonal fish and locally sourced vegetables.

The ryokan encourages guests to unwind in nature with two private onsens in each villa and offers shared spaces including a library and living room, which feature views of Mt. Yotei. Winter offers skiing at nearby Hanazono ski area, while summer activities include golf and trekking in the surrounding forests.

Designed by award-winning architect Makoto Nakayama, Zaborin integrates contemporary luxury with traditional ryokan aesthetics. Trains to Kutchan and various transportation options, such as cars and shuttles, allow for easy access to the local area.
